Jaime landed in Latin America five years ago to initiate operations for Ticketbis, a marketplace for event tickets, which was eventually sold to eBay for $165M. Previous to joining Ticketbis, Jaime helped start Groupon’s operations in Spain and Portugal as Inside Sales Country Manager and also co-founded ZUVY, a platform to connect people with meaningful travel experiences via local organizations. Jaime co-founded Gus Chat in August 2015 and is based in the Mexico City office. Nowadays Gus licences chatbots for 35 companies such as BestDay, Cabify, Aviatur, Viajes BAC Credomatic, and many others among other industries. _ _ _ _ Jaime es fundador de Gus y responsable de toda la estrategia comercial, desarrollo de negocio e internacionalización en Gus.chat. Jaime es licenciado en Empresariales Internacionales por la Universidad de ICADE de Madrid y por la Dublin City University en Irlanda. Empezó su carrera en Banca de Inversión en Londres en el departamento de Asset Management del Banco Santander. Justo después participó en el lanzamiento de Groupon como City Manager de Inside Sales para España y Portugal. Durante el trabajo y con solo 21 años, fundó una compañía de turismo sostenible, Zuvy, donde le otorgaron el 1er Premio como Emprendedor del año de 30,000 usd. Entre 2012 y 2015 ha sido Director Regional de Ticketbis (recientemente adquirida por Ebay por 165m USD) abriendo mercado en países como Brasil, Argentina, Colombia, Perú, México y USA, donde llegó dirigir un equipo de 80 personas logrando objetivos de ventas mayores a 50M USD.

Logros

1) En Gus Chat Jaime ha cerrado acuerdos importantes con empresas como: BestDay, Cabify, Aviatur, Cinépolis, Ocesa, Palacio de Hierro, Farmacias del Ahorro, entre otros. También ha desarrollado alianzas con empresas de primer nivel como Amadeus,, Genesys o Zendesk en cuanto a la automatización de consultas y conversaciones dentro de la vertical de viajes: (ver nota: http://pulsosocial.com/2017/12/18/jaime-navarro-seducir-chatbots- gigante-la- industria-viajes/)2) La anterior empresa donde Jaime trabajó antes de fundar Gus, se llamada Ticketbis, la cual resultó ser un caso de éxito ya que fue vendida a Ebay por una cantidad cercana a los 200millones de dólares americanos. In charge of Ticketbis Business Development units in Latin America and US/Canada.

Prospection and approach to top players in the Industry (primary ticketing companies, music promoters, afilliate partners, sport clubs, online travel and media sites, culture institutions etc). Develop these relationships and expand partnership network.

Support Ticketbis HQ on sharing local most up-to-date information knowledge and hiring the necessary local suppliers (marketing and content strategies, product development, HR agencies, law and accounting firms, logistics, telecom, etc). Support Communication executing PR actions when needed.

Sales Forecasts, conversion and track performance based on data analysis. Identify actions, synergies and common tasks with the market team in order to hit market goals. Achieve a proper flow of information between departments and coordinate efforts towards solving problems or issues affecting the market.
